Using Replayd

These terms govern your use of Replayd, operated by Tom Seymour, trading as Replayd, in Queensland, Australia. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet any minimum age required by laws that apply to your use of the service. These terms do not override statutory age restrictions.

Your account

Provide accurate registration information, use an email address you control, and keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate another person or organisation. Contact replaydit@gmail.com if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.

You may use supported third-party sign-in options subject to the provider's terms. Replayd is independent of those providers. You remain responsible for activity you authorise through your account.

Your reviews and lists

You retain ownership of the original content you submit. You give Replayd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the service, including its sharing features and subject to your privacy settings. We do not acquire ownership of your reviews.

You must have the rights needed to submit your content. Do not upload copyrighted recordings, lyrics, artwork, or other material without permission or another lawful basis. Other users' reviews remain their content, not yours to republish without permission.

When you delete content, this licence ends except to the extent needed to process deletion, maintain limited backups, comply with law, or resolve an existing dispute. Deletion cannot recall copies other people have already made or remove independent search-engine caches.

Community standards

Express honest opinions about music and treat people respectfully. Do not post unlawful threats, harassment, hateful abuse, defamatory claims, private personal information without permission, or content that infringes another person's rights. Do not spam, manipulate ratings or engagement, impersonate people, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems.

Do not bypass access controls or use automation that disrupts the service. Report harmful content or a copyright concern to replaydit@gmail.com with a link and enough detail for us to investigate. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Moderation and account restrictions

We may remove content or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect users or service security, or comply with law. We aim to act proportionately and explain significant restrictions where lawful and safe. Urgent security or safety concerns may require action without advance notice.

You can ask us to review a moderation decision by emailing replaydit@gmail.com. You may stop using Replayd at any time and delete your account through Settings using Delete account and its email-code confirmation. If you cannot use that process, contact us for help. Deletion is permanent. Information handling and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

Music information and availability

Replayd helps people discover, organise, and discuss music. Community scores are user opinions, not endorsements or guarantees. Catalogue details, artwork, release dates, and track lists may come from third parties and can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or changed.

Music and artwork rights remain with their respective owners. Replayd does not grant rights to download or redistribute music. External services and links are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We work to keep Replayd available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change or become unavailable, including when a data provider changes its service. We will give reasonable notice of material service changes where practicable.

Consumer rights and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. We do not require you to waive those rights or accept liability for Replayd's own unlawful conduct.

Each party's responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law. The descriptions of service limitations above do not override mandatory consumer protections.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law. We will publish the revised terms and revision date, and give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable, except where urgent legal or security needs require sooner action. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If you do not accept revised terms, you may stop using the service and request account deletion.

Queensland law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Queensland courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction; this does not take away a right to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable law. Please contact replaydit@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve a concern, without limiting your right to seek a remedy from a court or regulator.
